Visa information

Most visitors enter Indonesia visa-free or with an e-Visa on Arrival bought online before the flight. Athletes and team officials travelling for an event use the dedicated sports visa. Everyone fills in the All Indonesia arrival card before landing.

Who qualifies

19 nationalities

Citizens of the ten ASEAN member states plus Brazil, Colombia, Hong Kong, Peru, Suriname, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Macau and Belarus may enter for tourism without a visa. The list was expanded by Immigration regulation No. 10 of 2026 in July 2026.

How long

30 days

Visa-free entry allows a stay of up to 30 days. It cannot be extended or converted to another permit. If you plan to stay longer, or your passport is not on the list, use the Visa on Arrival instead.

What you need

Passport and onward ticket

A passport valid for at least six months from the date of arrival, and a return or onward ticket to another country. Complete the All Indonesia arrival card before you land.

The visa-free list changes by ministerial regulation, most recently in July 2026. Always check your eligibility on the official immigration portal before booking travel.
Apply for your e-Visa
